Our Family... Our Story... Our Moments: Halloween Trick or Treat and more!!!

Trick or Treating was a blast!!! The mall in our area had trick or treating store wide for 2 hours so we went and walked the entire mall saying trick or treat and Thank you to almost everyone that had candy. Her bucket got so full that it was getting hard for her to carry it. :) She was so full of excitement that I had to tell her that she had to calm down because she was making some of the candy fall out of her bucket from jumping up and down. :)

Next we went to the Fire Department for some hotdogs, chips, drinks, and candy. Alexa ate almost 2 hotdogs! and some chips and she wasn't sure that she could take some candy since everyone up until then was putting it in her bucket but then the nice lady there told her she could take some and she was more willing. :) We all finished eating and then headed to the door with one of the fireman and he let us look around in the fire trucks and ambulances. He even let Alexa sit in the very front seat of the fire truck!!! She was super excited but she was also scared she said because it was so high up, so mommy went in with her to check everything out. Then he even let us go inside the one the was outside running with it's lights on and told the kids what he has to do to get the ladder up. (too bad we couldn't see it go up). I think going to the fire department was the high light of her day!

Well I had told Alexa that this week we could go and get her some new fish (her old fish died a while back). She decided that today was going to be the day to get those fish! I planned on only getting 2 fish and that was it but then the fish that she really liked were all of sale! Awesome! So I let her get 4 fish, 2 of each kind. She renamed the fish that she lost Rapunzel and Flynn Rider (same kind of fish as last time) and then she got 2 blue fish (same type as before also) and named them Aurora and Barbie. I think we can tell that she likes her Princesses and Barbies!

After a long day of trick or treating, we finally made our way home. Once we were home I had Alexa go stand outside the door and knock like she was trick or treating at mommy's... she did and liked it so much that she wanted to do it again and again... Mommy gave her a big bag of her favorite M&Ms (coconut m&ms). Maybe they are her favorite because she knows mommy will not steal them.. hmmm :) We took pictures of us together, since mommy decided to wear my cat costume again this year. (Alexa decided to take my costume in Petsmart and run around since then being a cat-looking at the cats too and was super cute!) And then it was off to bed and within minutes Alexa was very fast asleep. :)
